South Mississippi Special Needs Organization is a local group committed to providing social, educational and fun opportunities to those with intellectual and/or physical disabilities in a safe environment with peers where a person can have fun, be themselves, and just enjoy life.  Our goal is to have periodic fundraisers throughout a calendar year to enable us to put those funds right back into the community here on the coast to hold events throughout the year and in various locations for the benefit of our acquaintances and friends with special needs.

Training Materials/Handouts

Upon request, the school system cooperates with community organizations to assist them with communication to students and parents by allowing distribution of literature and other materials to students and parents informing them of local community activities that are in no way associated with the school system. We encourage our students to be active members of our community and want them to be informed of all opportunities available to them.  However, the George County School System does not endorse any of these outside organization, and this organization is in no way affiliated with the George County School System.
