Leadership Academy
2023-2024
We currently have 13 participants in our new leadership academy. The participants are all currently serving the George County School District and enrolled in Educational Leadership. Monthly meetings are held and directed by our Secondary Curriculum Director, Dr. Jennifer Mathis.
The Applications for the 2024-2025 are being accepted now. All applications are due before May 23, 2024.
The Leadership Academy is designed to help learn all the aspects of school leadership and administration.
GC Leadership Academy is designed for:
1. Teachers or counselors currently enrolled in an Educational Leadership program at a college or university.
2. Teachers that have graduated with a degree in Educational Leadership.
3. A new administrator in a position as Assistant Principal, Lead teacher, or other administrative position (required program)
4. Teachers or counselors seriously considering obtaining a future degree in Educational Leadership or would like to learn more about leadership in our district.
